Thank you for the most attractive postcard which we received today, requesting that we close Silver Street or Magdalene Bridge to traffic on Saturday 23 October to enable your Pooh Sticks participants to run freely across the road.
I hate to disappoint you, but this is not going to be possible, especially at such short notice. I can only recommend that, as I’m sure you aren’t really Bears of Little Brains, you use footbridges or do your utmost not to get run over by the traffic as it passes if you must use the bridges mentioned.
