Dear Sir/Madam

The Pembroke College Winnie-The-Pooh Society would like to express its dismay at your blind disregard for A. A. Milne's classic tale "Winnie-The-Pooh".

It is our opinion that your alterations to this story have spoilt its enjoyment. Your claim to this story has helped people to forget what it was originally about, replacing it with your standard Mickey Mouse style cartoon, which you must admit is nowhere near the quality of the original masterpiece. We would therefore like to ask you to stop this degrading practice and go back to Mickey Mouse, leaving Winnie-The-Pooh alone.

In addition, your memorabilia is not helping this matter. Therefore, we would like to request you remove these products from stock and place them in safe confinement until they can be disposed of. You are however welcome to continue producing products using the original artwork, should you so wish.

If you would like to discuss this matter further, a representative would be welcome to attend one of our meetings.

Thank you for your time and trouble on this matter.

Yours faithfully
Pembroke College Winnie-The-Pooh Society

OWEN BARRITT
Foreign Secretary
