In which the tea is far away but cakes are numerous.

Held on Saturday 10th May 2008 on Churchill College lawn.

Present: Ed, James, CGM, Lisa & Owen, Twillo

  1. Opened 4.17.
  2. Ed: "Nobody do anything interesting until I've got everything out." 1-4-0. Failed.
  3. Guests can vote. 4-1-0. Carried.
  4. Owen has not poured Ed.
  5. Ed: "Naff off, it's my cake." [Even beetles find it delicious.]
  6. James: "Commend Ed for port-flavoured goo." 4-0-1. Carried.
  7. Owen returns from the pilgrimage to the kitchen for more tea.
  8. Owen proposes the Flavis [yellow ant identified by CGM] is called Mavis. 4-1-0-1 [Janet]. Carried.

  11. Ed had a pen. 4-1-1. Carried.
  12. Owen voted by sticking his hand in the air. 6-0-0. Carried.
  13. Reading: NT7 - Tigger is Unbounced.
  14. CGM: "You're only supposed to say 'oo-er' after reading Winnie-the-Pooh, not after reading Mass/Maths." 3-3-0. Hung. CR TO DECIDE.
  15. James: "Has California considered leaving the US and joining, say, Canada to make a better country?"
  16. Ed [not Eeyore or Capt. Chocoholixxs, but the one you don't know.] is so wrong. 3-2-0-1 [Lisa dragon]. Carried.
  17. If glass is soft, it's probably rather warm. 4-2-0. Carried.

  26. Covering Sicily in solar panels could provide all of current world electricity demand. [Maybe electricity, but energy consumption is much more as we use a lot of fossil fuels directly. Ed]
