Minutes of the Pembroke College Winnie-the-Pooh Society Extraordinary meeting, 8.31 Saturday 25th of January 1997

Held in Pembroke Formal Hall
Present: Ben, Rob, Andrew.

  1. Lee Benfield paid his pooh levy and was officially enlisted as a member of the Pembroke College Winnie-the-Pooh Society, in order that he might represent us at Worms against the infidel Sheila and Her Dog Society (spit, spit). Hurrah!. He claims to be an expert player, so we should do well. Perhaps the war will be over by Easter.....

  2. Ben takes the pooh levy on behalf of the treasurer, and will pay it to her at the earliest opportunity, or spend it, whatever seems easiest.

  3. Vote to close F:3 A:0 Abs:1 . The meeting was closed.

  4. Then we realised that since Lee is not a member of Pembroke, but resides at the Car Park known as Robinson College, he was not entitled to join without being proposed by a member of the committee, as described under clause IV of the constitution.

  5. The meeting was reopened.

  6. Ben proposed Lee as a member of Poohsoc under clause 4. Votes F:2 A:0 Abs:1. Lee became a member of Poohsoc (again).

  7. Vote to close: F:3 A:0 Abs:1. The meeting was closed (again).
