Present: Alison, Andrew, Anthony, Ben, Jenny, Tony, Vicky
Apologies: Jo, Rob, Stephen, Sibylle

Minuted by Andrew, as under-secretary.

  1. It is noted that Rob is present in the form of an electronic image on Alisons computer.

  2. The minutes of the EGM are read. A number of mistakes are queried, and alterations made.

  3. It is decided that Peach should be in inverted commas. Peach.

  4. Anthony arrives.

  5. Vote to censure Alison for the lack of biscuits. F5, A1, Ab 0. Motion passed.

  6. Tony arrives. Meanwhile, a search conducted by Ben finds that there are no biscuits to be found in the entire house. Hence, a vote to censure the entire houise is taken. F7, A0, Ab0, motion passed.

  7. Ben contributes £1.03, Jenny £1, and Anthony departs for the Co-Op to acquire biscuits. The shop in question is on the right. Or possibly the left.

  8. Ben demonstrates the remote control on Alisons computer.

  9. Ben is getting appropriate, whatever that may mean.

  10. A Formal Hall of War is discussed. It will be an away match.

  11. How many Eeyores do we want? The computer screen has lots of them all over it.

  12. Tony and Alison are not recieving PoohSoc flyers. Joy is. There is a worry that Joy might turn up one day. Tony is added to the e-mailing list.

  13. Anthony returns from the Co-Op., with biscuits, apple pies and cake.

  14. Vicky claims that it took her 6 years to make her jeans herself.

  15. Various ways of feeding biscuits to Alisons computer are discussed.

  16. Tony Blair is too busy to play Poohsticks. His letter is read. He must be too worried about todays student uprising on Parkers Piece and the threat to world stability which it poses, when he should be playing Poohsticks.

  17. It is suggested that we play basketball, but we dont have a basket.

  18. Vicky leaves, to supervise the library.

  19. Two for the price of one chocolate chip biscuits.

  20. Dave Henderson appears at the meeting. This is the 4th time he has been at a PoohSoc meeting. He leaves.

  22. Allowing shops to become PCWtPSoc approved if they sell Pooh related products is discussed.

  23. The various substances spilled on the carpet are discussed.

  24. Ben talks CompSci. I refuse to minute this in any detail, as Id (probably) have to listen.

  25. Ben will produce some PoohSoc letter headings.

  26. The Post Office spelled p as pee on a recipt for the purchase of stamps.

  27. Who is Owl? No one can remember, and it isnt on the website.

  28. The Reading. In which Eeyore finds the Wolery and Owl moves into it.

  29. Jenny proposes that we censure Ben for doing maths in a PoohSoc meeting. F5, A1, Ab0. Ben is censured.

  30. Certain similarities between Eeyore and Rachel Dixon are simultaneously noticed by members. "You just stay here in this one corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you."

  31. Bens copy of the testament says he gulped twiec. This wobbly spelling is not seen in the other books.

  32. Alison had another affair, with Tigger. Is Tigger called Chris is any sense?

  33. Vote to close . F4, A2, Ab0. Meeting closed.

  34. The meeting is reopened.

  35. Next weeks venue is discussed. It is decided to choose a venue nearer the time.

  36. Vote to close. F2, A2, Ab2. Problem!

  37. Magnus Huckvale is contacted via computer. He is asked to make the casting vote. He consults the plastic monitor lizards on his computer, who vote F2, A1, Ab0. Total vote is therefore F4, A3, Ab2. Meeting closed. Is this the first time that inanimate objects (the lizards, not Magnus) have voted in a meeting?
