Minutes of the Pembroke College Winnie-the-Pooh meeting on the 7th of November in F5. In which there are lots of minutes taken.
Present : Jenny, Rob, Kadia, Anthony, Yasmin, Gabriel, Jeremy, Ben, James, Tom, Jon, Kirsten, Richard, Neil, Chris, Claire, Martin, Belinda, Jonathan.
Apologies : Andrew, Tony, ?
- Ben opens the meeting at 16.08 and then leaves.
- The Foreign secretary is taking minutes as both the secretary and under secretary are away.
- Rob pays his Pooh levy.
- Rumours are started about where Andrew is. Most of them involve Becky until we discover she's away.
- Ben Returns.
- Kadia starts reading the minutes at 16.15.
- The notes are looking confused.
- Kirsten gives Michael weird blood flow by sitting on him.
- As Ben had to write the minutes from Andrews hand written notes there are various problems while we all try to decipher what was actually written.
- Circles are more attractive than squares.
- The minutes have been read in 10 minutes.
- Vote to let visitors vote : Passed.
- Minutes from the emergency meeting held when a parcel arrived are read.
- The parcel is opened again for the people who weren't at the emergency meeting.
It contains : A packet of tea
                  A large pencil
                  A folder containing some letters.
- The letters are read.
- Ben starts demanding tea and is offered some used tea bags.
- Vote to censure Andrew for leaving Ben the minutes to type up : F:lots Ag:5 Ab:3. Passed.
- Vote to let Anthony and Kadia be an embassy (or Benson and Hedges) to Mrs Barbour : Passed.
- It is decided to hold an election for the post of coast guard.
- Kirsten and Michael stand together for joint coast guard.
- They stand on a single ticket to hust promising to bring more cake if they get the post.
- There is a panic as we check whether the ticket is actually a single or a return but thankfully its a single.
- Andrew returns but fails to start taking minutes.
- Kirsten and Michael get the post. Therefore they should now bring more cake as promised.
- Belinda gives her report on the Overland Pooh sticks tournament.
- The results are: 3rd - Jeremy
                       2nd - Jenny the treasurer.
                       1st - Ben, Anthony and Andrew.
- The Pooh stick used by the winners was a champagne bottle with a twig on it and a song which they then sang.
- They are forced to sing the song again.
- It appears that they actually cheated and sent their Pooh stick before the official starting time but we let them get away with it.
- The winners are presented with certificates.
- Vote for something or other to do with Andrew, Ben and Anthony: Passed.
- Vote to congratulate Belinda : Passed.
- Vote to promote Belinda to joint Captain of Pooh sticks : Passed.
- Vote to thank Jessica for being the recipient of the Pooh sticks : Passed.
- Vote to censure Ben : Failed.
- Dave Henderson is mentioned repeatedly.
- The reading is "In which Eeyore looses a tail and Pooh finds one."
- Gabriel has magic windows.
- Ben mentions quantum tails.
- Ben then mentions Schrödinger's tails.
- Ben then insults art students by pointing out that they wouldn't know what he is on about.
- Yasmin throws a book at Ben but misses and hits Kirsten.
- More disruptions to the reading with Kirsten groping Ben.
- The reading finishes after many disruptions.
- Strange discussions occur due to similar sounding words.
- Vote to create the post of "Something similar to the society" : failed.
- Vote that Gabriel would hold the post if the post existed : Passed.
- Ben screams due to being poked by Michael.
- Vote to censure Ben for listening to Q103 : Passed.
- Where's Alison?
- Kirsten's a fish.
- Vote to censure Ben for suggesting we stop censuring people : failed.
- Discussions are held as to whether society posts should be elected twice a year instead of once.
- Yasmin and Claire start giggling.
- We discover it is because Yasmin wants a Chapel going cushion.
- Vote to censure Ben: Passed.
- Vote to prove Ben wrong for claiming he had a bigger bottom than Yasmin: passed after getting a visitor to decide.
- Ben has got a larger bottom than Yasmin.
- Meeting next week to be held in CC32.
- Vote to close : Passed.
